cant log in...

y is there no forgot password link in the log in page?
my friend signed up last night but he couldnt log in. he saw his activation link and clicked it but the got this message:
Your account could not be activated. Please re-check the link or contact the system administrator.

what the problem with his account?
please send him his log in details on his email add...

his account IS activated and i don't see any problem with that account, i was loging in and it work perfect, if he lost password let me know...
